The planning stages of this concept involved researching inspiration images and studying sculptures. Two goddesses in particular were the main focus, Aphrodite and Genetrix. Two women who are depicted as very powerful as well as feminine and sensual. The second part of planning was ensuring that the Greek theme would translate well through the images.

Mother’s Day is once a year and often times it can be difficult to think of a gift that captures the emotion and love we feel. This year I thought of a way to incorporate photography as a gift that my clients could choose to give to their mothers’ or even family members.

When I work with clients my initial approach is to learn a little bit about who they are and what matters most to them. This has always not only made the photoshoot go smoothly, but also ensure that my clients are happy with their pictures. The best quality a photographer can have is understanding their clients and being able to bring their vision to life.

Photography started, at its core, as a way to capture moments in history as well as the story behind the person being photographed. There is something captivating about images of the past and the people they captured, their expressions, surroundings, posing; all telling us something hundreds of years later.

This past April I had the chance to capture such moments for Monique and Antonio for their destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico.

My newest project “Slavic Beauty” is part of the ongoing Botanical Beauty series I've been expanding and developing. Each piece holds its own story and captures a feeling that is purely their own.

We often hear that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but there is no denying the ethereal beauty of flowers. The Botanical Beauty project uses the splendor of botanical products to allure to the natural glamour that each of us already possesses. We use different flowers, colors, and styles to best suit our clients. The goal is to create luxurious designs that enhance the characteristics of each person we work with in order to create art that holds not just beauty, but personality and power.
